PURPLE HEARTS
One the best '79 Mod bands, with their punky style Mod anthems, such as 'Millions like Us' and 'Jimmy'.
They were extremely unlucky not to get any chart hits with the likes of Secret Affair and The Chords, but still left us with some excellent stuff.
Both their last albums, 'Head on' and 'Popish Freenzy' were recently release on CD, plans are also afoot for a compilation of demos/unreleaased nunbers on Detour.
Plus Captain Mod, have also brought the rights for the Hearts first album, 'Beat That' for release for the first time on CD.
